Sunday 27th July saw cadets and adults all heading off to Staffordshire for two weeks of a fun filled, action packed Annual Camp at Swynnerton Training Camp near Stone. The weather for the most part was extremely kind to us bringing some extremely hot and sunny days, there was some rain but this did not deter the enthusiam of the cadets, nor did it interrupt the training programme.

Our visitors this year included Brigadier M A Aris CBE DL, HM Deputy Lord Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire; Major General P F Everson OBE, General Officer Commanding 4th Division; Councillor Robert Edger OBE, Mayor of Bracknell; Colonel Guthrie, Deputy Commander HQ 145 Brigade, Colonel A J Willis, Chairman Berkshire RFCA; Colonel S J Oxlade MBE and Lt Colonel P G B Ellis QGM*, Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive of the SE RFCA respectively; Captain A L Buff, SO3 G3 Cadets 145 Brigade; Captain A D Blackmore, ADC to GOC; Colonel R B Paddison MBE, Honoray Colonel Berkshire ACF along with a former Berkshire ACF Commandant, Colonel B C Tearle; Colonel S Gundersen and Lt Colonel K Velde of the Norwegian Home Guard District 02 Oslo and finally Mrs Helen Barrow & Mr Stuart Turkington, Director & Photographer DBA Communications respectively .
