The last few weeks Craig has been extremely busy, a film crew from the BBC followed his equestrian training and then his Pass-Out Parade on 8th October for the programme called "Inside Out", this is being shown on BBC1 on Monday 16th November.
He seems to be chosen for everything, he has taken part in several Staircase Parties at Buckingham Palace where the guards line the grand staircase for investitures. He was part of the escort party for the State Procession when the President of India visited Windsor a couple of weeks ago. He was also 'cleanest man' on the day of his first Queens Guard duty at Horseguards Parade which meant he was on horseback in the Sentry Box rather than guarding on foot, this is quite unusual for a first duty. He is also to be part of the procession for the State Opening of Parliament.
At the end of the month he is going to Switzerland for 6 weeks. He has been chosen for the Household Cavalry Ski Team. He is one of ten going, they will be trained for 6 weeks and then the best 4 will get to stay on for a further 3 weeks for Inter-Army competitions. He is really looking forward to this as he loves skiing.
He will be home for four days over Christmas.....
